Gleaner Ltd Announces Sale of Bridgend Filling Station – Thurso to Karan Retail Ltd

Gleaner Ltd announce today that ownership of Bridgend Filling Station – Thurso, will transition to Karan Retail Ltd. Effective 27/02/26

Karan Retail Ltd brings extensive experience in the service station industry, with a proven track record of operating successful sites and delivering a consistent, high-quality service.

This transition marks an important new chapter for the site and the community it has proudly served as part of the Gleaner Service Station Network since 2018. Importantly, all current team members will continue in their roles under the new ownership, ensuring continuity of service and the same familiar, friendly faces customers know and trust.

The staff have been the foundation of Bridgend Filling Station’s success. Their professionalism, loyalty and dedication to customer service has built strong relationships within the community and created a welcoming environment for all who visit the site. We extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to each team member for their years of service and commitment and we are pleased that they will continue to contribute their experience and local knowledge as part of Karan Retail Ltd.
