To be mindful that oil usage increases in the winter, especially over the festive period.

To order heating oil early for the winter period. Delivery times increase at this time of year.
To check their oil level regularly. Be aware of what is in your tank to avoid running out of oil.
To check their tank, pipes & equipment for leaks and damage regularly. This ensures that your delivery can be made and avoids any disruption to your supply.
To have a yearly service to reduce the chance of an emergency breakdown. A well maintained boiler uses less oil than an inefficient boiler.
To keep in mind that when adverse weather hits, access to remote properties can be impacted by snow, ice and water.
